About Me

I am from Fort Worth, Texas. I was in the U.S. Navy for 4 years and got to visit 6 different countries while at sea on an aircraft carrier. I love Martial Arts; it has been a passion of mine since I was 8 years old. My design journey started with photography and eventually led to UX Design. I enjoy seeing what is possible with technology and what can be created with the tools provided to me. My ultimate ambition in life is to help my local community. As a UX Designer, I look forward to making a positive yet subtle impact on the world.

Martial Arts

I have been doing martial arts since I was 8 years old. It has offered me more opportunities than I can count from teaching people, young to old; to competing in front of Martial Arts' all-time greats. I can truly say that it has been a blessing. As an instructor, I have learned so many things about myself and grown because of it. I hope to bring what I have learned into my future workplace as I know I will make a great collaboration partner and strive to be a good leader as well.

U.S. Navy

While I do not define myself as only a veteran, it is definitely a big part of who I am. Working in very harsh environments, I have learned to think on my feet when in high-stress situations. Being able to travel the world has greatly opened my eyes to many different cultures and taught me to appreciate the things that others can bring to the table if you just sit down and converse. I hope to bring everything I learned in the military into the Design world and use all of those experiences to better myself as a future UX Designer.

Injury Management Organization / Design Consultant

  • Created workflows for new product service offered– an Absentee Management Program.
  • Workflows and training guides created– guided IMO staff through an easy step-by-step visual for navigating through mandated federal documents.
  • Assisted on an additional special project which incorporated the development of training modules for wellness initiatives for IMO staff.
  • Led numerous meetings to obtain further in-depth knowledge of IMO’s design needs.
